Ok, someone asked me to join LiveJournal, so, I did, but, I am not sure about something.
I dont really know how to explain it, but, here goes.
When I click the link to write an entry to my journal, I cant work out where to write it. I can get as far as the subject, and type that in, then i press tab, to get to the next box to type my entry, but, the next box is tags. so, I cant find the place too write the actual entry.
If anyone has any idea what I am on about, or can help, it would be appreciated.
Thanks.

OK. For some reason tabbing to the edit box is a bit weird in some places at least with jaws. (I don't know what screen reader you're using, but this should work with jaws or window eyes at least.) After writing your subject, leave forms mode, and press e for "next edit field." You can use shift e to go back an edit field as well. The entry field is the one right after subject. It doesn't say anything but edit when you move to it in the above fassion. At least in the style I'm using. (I'm using jaws 9 for reference.) Hope that helps.

I've had this problem too, and I did the same thing. Went out of MSAA and hit C for the next edit box, muahaha. Third way! That's for Win-Eyes, by the way.
I think this quirk may have something to do with the fact that LJ is now set to work in rich text mode by default, as opposed to HTML, but I'm not sure, since I set it back to HTML, my preference.
If this annoys you--this whole thing with the forms mode--you might consider getting a client, which will enable you to update without using the template on the site. If you go to LJ's site map and then to the faq, you can read about and find out where to obtain clients.
Good luck and have fun!
Caitlin

Yes, I tried these suggestions, and, they worked, only thing it didnt do was include the part that I copied and pasted into it, but, I guess I will figure that out oneday.

I sometimes post on the site, but usually, I'll use a client. I like Simagic for Windows and IJournal for Mac. There are also others out there. But yes, it certainly makes posting a breeze.
